Divulging Plans
Sun Tzu said, “These military devices, leading to victory, must not be divulged beforehand.”
Any plans the generals make should be highly secretive. The plans should not be shared with anyone. There may be spies nearby.
In business, you should keep your plans secretive. You can't let the competitor know what you are doing. If someone sees all of your plans, they will be able to devise even better ones to defeat you. If you can see the plans of someone else, it makes your job a lot easier.
There are a lot of companies that have lost a lot of market share to past employees. The employees were able to take the plans and use them on their own. That is why a company needs to keep their plans secret.
