Where to Attack
Sun Tzu said, “Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.”
If soldiers are not thinking about battle, they will not fight as strong. If someone is unprepared, they will not be able to fight well at all.
Some of the guerilla war tactics are like this. You might attack soldiers that are just going to bed without rifles or weapons. They are unprepared. You would certainly be unexpected, as well.
In business, you should go after markets in which the competitors are not well prepared. Then, you should approach the marketing and the business in an unexpected way. What will happen is that the competition will be shocked and have a harder time responding to your unexpected ways. And, since the competition is unprepared, it gives you a much better chance of winning.
